Works well for sudden and painful diarrhoea.
It can be dissolved by mouth without water and can be taken anywhere, including on trains.
One tablet without water works.
Does not contain ingredients that make you drowsy (but do not drive or operate).

Lozenges extracted from the herbal medicine lotocon reduces abnormal intestinal contractions and the speed of stool migration in the bowel.
In addition, berberine tannate reduces inflammation of the intestinal mucosa and kills diarrhoea-causing bacteria, making it effective against diarrhoea caused by food or water poisoning.

1.The following persons should consult a doctor, pharmacist or registered pharmacist before taking the product
(1) People under the care of a doctor.
(2) People with diarrhoea with fever, bloody stools or persistent mucous stools.
(3) People with acute severe diarrhoea or diarrhoea with symptoms such as abdominal pain, abdominal distension, and flaccidity.

Skin - Rash/redness, itching.
Psychoneurological system - headache.
Urinary system - dysuria.
Other - Hot face, unusual glare.

3.If any of the following symptoms persist or intensify after taking the product, discontinue taking the product and consult a doctor, pharmacist or registered pharmacist with this document.

4. If symptoms do not improve after taking the product for 5~6 days, stop taking it and consult a doctor, pharmacist or registered pharmacist with this document.

Breast milk may be difficult to produce.

Indications/effects.

Diarrhoea with abdominal pain, diarrhoea, diarrhoea due to indigestion, food poisoning, water poisoning, regurgitation, cradle bellies, soft stools

Dosage and administration

Chew or dissolve the following dose in the mouth and take.
Age - Dose per dose - Number of doses per day - Dosing interval
Adults (15 years and older) - 1 tablet - up to 3 doses - at least 4 hours apart.
Under 15 years - do not take.

　(誤ってそのまま飲み込んだりすると食道粘膜に突き刺さる等思わぬ事故につながります。)

Ingredients/amounts

In one dose (1 tablet)
Active ingredient -- Content -- Function.
Roth extract 3x dispersed (20 mg as Roth extract) - 60 mg.
... reduces abnormal contractions of the bowel and inhibits the speed of stool migration in the bowel.
It is highly effective in diarrhoea that is accompanied by abdominal pain.

Berberine tannate - 100 mg.
... Protects the intestinal mucosa, reduces inflammation and prevents excessive water in the gut.
It also reduces abnormal putrefaction and fermentation in the gut.

Additives include D-mannitol, cellulose, crospovidone, maize starch, gum arabic, Mg stearate, aspartame (L-phenylalanine compound), l-menthol and flavouring agents.

Note related to ingredients.
As the product is made from herbal medicines (e.g. medicinal herbs, roots and bark), the colour and taste of the tablets may vary slightly from product to product and black spots may be visible, but the effect remains the same.

Storage and handling precautions

(1) Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not replace the product in other containers (may cause misuse or change quality). .
(4) Do not use products past their expiry date.
(5) Avoid scratching the aluminium foil on the back of tablets that are not to be taken, e.g. when separating the PTP (packaging) sheet containing the tablets along the perforations, as this may cause alteration.

Why the tablets are yellow.
This is because the Berberine Tannate in Stoppa Diarrhoea EX is yellow in colour and does not contain colouring agents.
